We work at the field level in partnership with underprivileged society and people’s organisations. The collective experience, learning and insight enable us to work on knowledge building, training and advocacy.

All initiatives are executed in a framework of collaboration and partnership to empower underprivileged chilren, their families & women for demanding their entitlements and enable the service providers, including the government, to deliver in a transparent and accountable manner.

An Amazing Story of Our Organization


Spoorthy was established in the year of 2000-01 by a team of highly experienced social activists within the NGO space. The focal thrust of the organization was addressing the issues pertaining to poor, marginalised, minority, tribal, childrean and the women.

In the last 15 years Spoorthy having associated with different NGO, forums, federations and progressive forum in the state and playing a vital role in organizing the poor and marginalized section to defend their rights on food security, education, employment and other issues.

Service 01

Education

We provide education for underprivileged children and mainly for girl child. Every child has the right to get education. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life; means, because it empowers an individual

Women Empowerment

The whole societies will get benefits when women get empowerment, education and their own rights to express themselves. Their families are healthier, children go to school, income levels improve and communities.

Social Development

Aims to invoke the social justice principles among the civil society actors and governmental organisations involved in social development. In partnership with grass root organisations we work on the issue of rights of the dalits, women and persons with disabilities.

Our Programmes

Spoorthy is involved in various fields of NGO, particularly into education, social development and women empowerment by joining hands with other organizations, goverment, & communities.

Spoorthy works for the well-being of socially marginalised and economically deprived communities by supporting locally led initiatives that strengthen families and communities, helping them to break the cycle of poverty and protect their rights through Our programs; in livelihood, increase access to credit for the women, building skills among the youth leaders , education on nutritional health’s Organic Forming, for the sustainable development to support themselves and take greater control of their lives and their future.

Spoorthy works in four districts of the Karnataka to Promotes community independence families and communities and children are active and leading contributors in their own development. We build capacity and sustainability at the community level and ensure that programs truly belong to those we are there to support.
